Both the leaders also joined the captains Rohit Sharma and Steve Smith just for the pre-match proceedings. Meanwhile, a photograph of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and PM Narendra Modi is also making rounds on social media. In the photograph, the two can be seen having a chat with each other.

The photo was tweeted by the Modi government’s minister Piyush Goyal with the caption “Captains”.

Subsequently, a section of the Indian fans didn’t take too long to come up with some trolling reactions for PM Modi; as he was seen slightly facing the camera instead of having a candid chat with Rohit Sharma. They took to Twitter to troll Modi with some interesting reactions in the comment section of the tweet posted by Goyal.
