Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja is reported to have been sacked from his role in Pakistan cricket. Recent media reports have learned that the current prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharf has also hinted about the same and some changes in the cricket Board.
“PCB’s constitution of 2014 should be restored. After its restoration, departmental sports will be revived,” Sharif was quoted saying by sources close to Pakistan news-based TV channel Geo News.
This news of the reported sacking of Ramiz Raja from the chairmanship has also forced the fans to come up with interesting reactions to the incident. They went on to lash out at the former Pak skipper’s recent debacle from the premier position in the Pakistan cricket Board.

@najamsethi getting reinstated as Chairman @TheRealPCB is the cherry on top of regime change debacle. What a perfect example of getting back to square one, almost as if someone turned back the time. Is Younis Khan team captain now?#PakistanCricket #ramizraja

The hero of the 1992 World Cup Final’s last catch against England was appointed as the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board by the former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier, Ramiz was in the headlines of social media for his explosive statements regarding the possibility of Pakistan touring India for the ODI World cup of 2023.
"I'm all for India-Pakistan contests, I've said this on record. I absolutely love the fans, and they like us as well - Pakistan has become a brand in international cricket, the players have got a fan following in India, and I know that the second most watched team in India after India is Pakistan, so they take interest in our development," said Raja a few days back regarding his stand for Pakistan’s tour to India for World Cup.
"We want to go and play, but the fact is it has to be on equal terms. You can't be subservient to a certain cricket board. We've survived without India now for a good number of years. Pakistan has looked at the scales of economy in-house and somehow have survived extremely well,” he added later.
