Chennai is the second most successful franchise in the history of the Indian T20 League and MS Dhoni has played a massive role in making it one. Under his leadership, the franchise has managed to win four titles. Chennai won their fourth title last year after beating Kolkata in the final.

After the conclusion of the 2020th edition, there were speculations about whether MS Dhoni will be part of Chennai’s set-up for the ongoing season. The franchise put all that to rest after retaining the former Indian captain ahead of the Mega Auction.

Currently, MS Dhoni is in charge of the side in the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League but the team isn’t doing too well. MS Dhoni’s individual performances, however, have been slightly better than the last year.

Amidst all this, a fan has written a heart-melting note for the Chennai captain.

"O captain, our captain, there shall never be someone like you," one of the phrases from the letter read.

MS Dhoni himself signed it and wrote: “Well Written. Best Wishes.”

Chennai framed the note and shared it on their social media handles. "Words from the yellow love framed for life & signed with love!". They wrote it as a caption.

It didn’t take too long for the post to get viral and it spread like a wildfire. Such has been the love and admiration for MS Dhoni in Indian Cricket and across the world.

Meanwhile, Chennai haven’t had a great outing this year in the Indian T20 League 2022. MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy duties to Ravindra Jadeja prior to the start of the season. However, the team didn’t fare too well and MS Dhoni took over the reins, once again.

In 13 matches, the Men in Yellow have only managed to win 4 games this season. Chennai have only one league stage game left this season. They are due to play their last match against Rajasthan on Friday at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
