The WWE is famously known for entertaining the fans with entertainment-packed matches. The wrestlers compete with each other without any intention of technically giving any damage to the opponent. But sometimes, things go extremely in a different direction when violence simulates in the match things go real during any accident.

As the wrestlers with their massive body vitals lock the horns with each other, then there are possibilities of any consequence at any time during any match. So, there have been also incidents that led to serious and real injuries to the wrestlers when which eventually resulted in paralysis or sometimes even to the extent of death.

So, here we’ll have a look at those five WWE superstars who happened to end the careers of their opponents by giving them a serious injury in the match.

Neville to Corey Graves

Corey Graves is currently the active commentator in the WWE at Monday Night Raw. He also keeps impressing fans with his stylish commentary and his outfit styles as well. Graves has excelled in this role during the last couple of years in his stint with the Company. Notably, he had also been the active superstar in the ring couple of years back.

Graves was a main-event star in NXT until and life-changing injury compelled him to end his career before the time. He was in a fight with Neville where the latter’s kick injured his head and he went into a concussion. Although, he continued to fight and damaged the injury bit more.

Due to the head trauma, he couldn’t play again and ended up doing commentary on the company’s events.

Samoa Joe to Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd was one of the promising stars in the company and he had some very close times as he was married to female WWE Superstar Natalya Neidhart. He always used to be in the main schedule of the events of WWE. But still, experts thought that there was very much left in the Canadian wrestler.

Once, he was in a fight with Samoa Joe where which eventually happened to be the last match of his career. It was because of the injury he got from the latter. The injury was that much serious that he went directly into medical supervision and couldn’t play any match after that day.

Sasha Banks to Paige

It was the time when Paige was enjoying the purple patch of his professional wrestling career in the WWE. She was impressing everyone with her stellar outings in almost every match in the ring. But something happened with her four years back in 2018 that eventually ended her career in the WWE.

It was the match in which she was facing off Sasha Banks where Sasha went on to smash a double-leg kick. This kick hit the back part of Paige’s neck. It ended her career. She had a lot of titles to her name while being active in the WWE. But this injury was serious to the extent that Paige couldn’t ever come back into the ring ever again.

Bill Goldberg to Bret Hart

Both of these superstars are WWE Hall of Famers. Although, the fight we are talking about happened in WCW. It was the same banner that is currently in the ownership of WWE. So, this fight can also be included in the list of events we are discussing here.

This match is remembered because of the bloodshed that happened there between Bill Goldberg and Bret Hart. Goldberg went on attempt a thrust kick which drove Bret Hart to unconscious immediately. This thrust kick ended the career of Bret Hart and due to its severity, the hitman never came back into the WWE for fighting in the ring.

D-Lo Brown’s move paralyzed Droz

Darren Drozdov was one of the brightest prospects in the WWE on the grounds of his athletic abilities and charismatic approach. He also earned the nickname ‘Puke’ for his excellent and amazing fighting skills in the ring. He has also had some brilliant outings in the ring with his outstanding moves.

But something terrible was waiting to happen for him at the SmackDown 23 years back in 1999. He was in a clash with D-Lo Brown where he sustained an injury during a powerbomb which eventually resulted in a false landing for him on his head and neck. This accident fractured his two vertebrates.

Due to that major setback and injury, he is currently restricted to a wheelchair with 24-hour assistance.
