The Men in Blue will want to win their third straight ODI series during the World Cup year. A victory versus Australia would be the cherry on top after earlier this year’s victories over Sri Lanka and New Zealand at home.
After overcoming the mighty Australians in the four-match Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India would be hoping to avenge the bilateral series loss they suffered in 2019.

Umran Malik
Malik is going to be the standout speedster to watch out for in Bumrah’s absence. He has so far dazzled with his velocity and wicket-taking skills, but he needs to be more reliable if he wants to guarantee a spot in the ODI World Cup squad.
He has been lethal thus far in the ODIs he has played for Team India, he will be a key wicket-taker in the upcoming Ind vs Aus series. It would take a lot from him if he needs to justify his position in the team with a number of players eyeing that spot already.
