Thus, although a few talented players were in either of the four categories, they deserved a promotion. Despite being sensational, a few Indian cricketers were deprived of the highest Grade, i.e. Grade A+. Today, we shall be taking a look at three players who deserved Grade A+ contracts.

1) KL Rahul:

KL Rahul is India's new all-format vice-captain. Besides, he's been the Asian side's best batter for the last 12-15 months. His current form merits him a Grade A+.

Moreover, he's a future captaincy option as well. On the basis of his game alone, Rahul could have got a promotion, let alone him being the vice-captain. Not only did he score the most number of runs for India during the  20-20 World Cup 2021, but he also scored the most number of runs for them during the three-match Test series against South Africa as well.

2) Rishabh Pant:

Rishabh Pant has sealed his spot in all three formats of the game. Besides, he's been the side's blue-eyed boy post the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2021-21. An important point to be noted is his improvement as a keeper.

Despite his initial struggles in limited-overs cricket for India, he looked solid during the white-ball games against West Indies and Sri Lanka. With age on his side, Pant is the future of Indian cricket and thus, deserved to get the best Grade.

3) Ravindra Jadeja:

Ravindra Jadeja has arguably been the most impactful Indian player in the last few years. It is safe to say that he can play in the team as a pure bowler, as well as a pure batter. When it comes to his batting, he has significantly worked on it.

Thus, several people have called for him to bat at six for India in all three formats. A quality all-rounder like him should be in the A+ category, as he's an automatic choice across all the formats of the game. Besides, he's a seasoned campaigner and has been playing international cricket for quite a while now.
