The Rohtak-based explosive batter couldn’t get enough chances to prove himself in the Asia Cup 2022. But apart from that, he has impressed everyone with his stellar performances with the bat in a few last white-ball projects of the Indian team against Ireland, West Indies, and Zimbabwe.

Other than the batting, Hooda can produce some good results with his bowling on a few times for the men in blue. If selectors would like to add strength to the batting lineup of team India in the absence of Ravindra Jadeja. He can provide some quick scoring runs to the team in crucial situations.

The young leg spinner is looking in excellent form with the bowl during the last few T20 internationals. He has scalped 11 wickets in the last five T20Is he played for India with the best figures of four wickets by conceding just 16 runs in the last of the five-match T20I series against West Indies at Lauderhill.
