Virat Kohli is currently on vacation after the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia. Team India suffered a 209-run loss against them and Kohli failed to deliver despite coming off after a good IPL season with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Now, on 23 June 2023, the Test and ODI squad of Team India got announced for the tour of the West Indies.

Kohli has been named in both the squad. So, fans will hope to see him in action in this upcoming tour with some runs. But, now, ahead of the tour, Kohli himself shared an image on social media where he seemed to be sitting on a London Metro Tube while reading a newspaper. He shared the image with the caption: “When in the tube.” Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media.

However, recently many images and videos went viral where Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma were seen together. In one image, it was found that the couple posed for some photos with fans in the Netherlands. While other photos and videos confirmed that both of them attended the Krishna Das Kirtan show in London. Recently, he also completed 12 years in Test cricket as Kohli made his debut in the longest format of the game on 20 June against West Indies at Kingston. As of now, he has scored 8479 runs, at an average of 48.72 in 109 Tests (185 innings).

Meanwhile, recently during an interview on the Nadir Ali podcast, the former Pakistan cricketer, Ahmad Shehzad opened up about the mutual respect they both have for each other. He said: “We share a mutual respect for each other. Whenever I need any advice regarding cricket, he has been kind (to help me out). I really respect him as a player. He took India to new heights in Test cricket. I haven't seen someone who has adapted so quickly. I feel his best is yet to come.”
