Speaking of the entire action of the match, Bangalore got a decent start of 39 runs for the first wicket in 4.2 overs from the openers, Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine. Eventually, on the back of a few 20+ knocks, Bangalore posted a total of 155 runs and lost all the wickets in 18.4 overs.
While chasing the target, Mumbai’s batters never looked uncomfortable in the game and they lost their only one wicket in the form of wicketkeeper-batter and opener, Yastika Bhatia on the team’s score of 45 runs. Following that, star opener Hayley Matthews and number three batter Nat-Sciver Brunt stitched an unbeaten partnership of 114 runs for the second wicket to finish the match for Mumbai and help the team win by nine wickets.
