'Lafda hogya ye to' - Fans react as heated argument erupts in Pakistan dressing room post Asia Cup exit

Pakistan have won the Asia Cup twice and this has not been the best of campaigns for them after starting on a high note.

Pakistan have not had the best of campaigns in the Asia Cup. The Men in Green have been knocked out of the tournament. They lost to Sri Lanka in a virtual semi-final that the Islanders won by 2 wickets. The Men in Green lost to India by a whopping margin of 228 runs in the Super Four stage. They have come crashing down after they had a great start in the Group stage at home.

On another note, According to Bolnews, the Pakistan Cricket dressing room got into a heated argument post-Asia Cup exit. Babar told the Pakistan players that they were not playing responsibly enough. To which Shaheen Afridi said that the captain should appreciate the players who batted and bowled well. Babar did not take kindly to the interruption and said 'I know who's performing well'.

Pakistan fast bowlers have suffered some injuries in Asia Cup 2023

Mohammad Rizwan came to broker peace between the two players. The Men in Green had a great start at home in the Group stages when Pakistan bulldozed Nepal by 238 runs in Multan. Babar and Iftikhar Ahmed both struck hundreds. The though the Group Stage fixture against India was rained out, the bowlers did very well and kept India to 266.

In the first match of the Super Fours, Pakistan beat Bangladesh in dominating fashion by 7 wickets. However, this was the last time they were going up the curve as they suffered two huge losses that cost them their campaign. The Men in Green have also been playing cricket for a long time which has caused a few players injuries.

Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf did not play all the games in the Continental tournament. Zaman Khan and Mohammad Wasim Jr. came in as replacements. Pakistan have won the Asia Cup twice and won a World Cup in 1992. The Men in Green will be looking to make a statement in India where the 2023 World Cup will be held.
