Over the years, WWE superstars have always managed to produce some memorable performances for their global fans. But, in order to give entertainment, sometimes some moves have not gone in their favour.

Thus, they have sustained injuries and some might have threatened their careers also while going forward. But, there are some instances where some superstars suffered bizarre injuries that left fans shell-shocked and surprised.   

Here are the top five strangest injuries that WWE superstars have faced:

Dog bit Shinsuke Nakamura

In 2018, a police dog bit Shinsuke Nakamura as police entered the venue for a security check. The dog bit him on his leg. Hence, he was taken to a local medical facility for further treatment. However, after one month, he returned to compete in the ring.  

Sean Waltman tore his Anus

In 2013, Sean Watman performed at Jerry Lynn’s retirement. But, he faced a bizarre injury during the match as he tore his anus. The DX and nWo member collided with an exposed turnbuckle. Later, he went under surgery to get recovered fully.  

Sami Zayn’s injury during his entrance

In 2015, then-United States Champion John Cena challenged Sami Zayn. In response to that, he came out to the ring on RAW. But, during his entrance, Zayn was seen swinging his arms and while doing that, he sustained an injury on his shoulders. However, he managed to get through the match vs Cena. But, as a result, he got ruled out for the next seven months.    

Mr McMahon tore both of his quads

The 2005 Royal Rumble match was a blockbuster as both John Cena and Batista were putting up a great show. They both tumbled over the rope and hit the floor at the same time. Hence, the referees were unsure about the winner. Seeing that, Mr Vince McMahon came out angrily to the ring but unfortunately, he tore his both quads. As a result, he was unable to stand and fans were left absolutely surprised.    

Mick Foley lost his ears

Foley had a match against Vader in 1994 in Dresden, Germany. During that match, Mick Foley lost a piece of his ear while getting caught between the ring ropes. However, the former WWE Champion continued the match and it was another instance where he put it all on the line to entertain the fans.
