WATCH: Harry Brook's last over heroics keep England alive in five match T20I series against West Indies

In a thrilling T20 international match between West Indies and England, the star English batter Harry Brook delivered a spectacular finish. Brook faced the challenge of scoring 21 runs from the last 6 balls to level the series 1-1. Brook was up against the formidable Andre Russell in the death overs and then the star England batter unleashed a flurry of powerful shots, securing a victory for his team.

The fans witnessed some brilliant range hitting from Brook who carried the team across the line. This performance from the talismanic batter can prove beneficial for him considering the  upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. Brook started the exciting sequence of hitting with a shot towards Fine leg and then skillfully guided Russell's delivery with a flick of his wrist. The next ball resulted in a six over the covers, adding 10 runs to Brook's and England's score in just 2 balls.

Brook then skillfully capitalized on a full toss directed at his legs for a six over fine leg. Following that on the very next ball, he tried to hit a shot-pitched delivery for a boundary, but Brook managed to scamper for a double. The right-hand batter’s six over the third man boundary from Russell's wide fuller delivery turned the match in a remarkable comeback, securing victory and levelling the series at 1-1.

Phil Salt was adjourned as player of the match for his century

England faced the formidable challenge of chasing down 223 runs set by West Indies in the 2nd T20I. While Brook played a crucial role in the finish, the true hero of England's chase was opening batter Phil Salt, who scored an unbeaten 109 off 56 balls. Salt was also honoured as the Player of the Match.

"Feels like it has been long time coming. We have been talking about being a match-winner in the group. We tried to get it down 60-70 in the last 5 overs. There is a way to do it. Played it my way. The role with Jos was crucial. He is one of the best in the world," Salt said at the post-match ceremony.
