Australia have always been a dominant force in senior international cricket, largely due to nurturing young talent from the early stages. The second most successful team, the Men in Yellow have reached the final of the U19 World Cup five times (1988, 2002, 2010, 2012, 2018). Australia, who won the inaugural edition in 1988, went on to win two more in 2002 and 2010. They have a chance to reach another final of the tournament if Hugh Weibgen and his team upset Pakistan in Semi-Final 2 of the ongoing season (2024).
