In the third T20I of the ongoing series, India beat South Africa by 106 runs. After an amazing century from skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Indian bowlers put up a show too. Chasing more than 200 runs, target South Africa fell 106 runs short as not a single batter looked comfortable against the experienced Indian bowling line-up.

Earlier, in the match between India and South Africa, while batting first, India posted a competitive total of 201-7 in their 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone for the inning with a powerful knock of 60 runs off 41 balls, showcasing a strike rate of 146.34. Shubman Gill contributed 12 runs before falling victim to Maharaj, while Tilak Varma faced a quick dismissal without adding to the scoreboard.

Suryakumar Yadav, leading the side, played a captain's innings, smashing 100 runs off just 56 deliveries at an impressive strike rate of 178.57. As the innings concluded, India managed to cross the 200-run mark and posted a formidable challenge against the host. For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj and Lizaad Williams took two wickets each.

Chasing a massive total of 201/7, South Africa had a poor start as they lost four wickets for a mere 42 runs in 6.1 overs. Apart from skipper Aiden Markram, not a single top-order batter was able to cross the double-digit mark. Markram, in his inning, scored 25 runs off 14 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.

In the end, David Miller, with a rusty knock of 35 runs off 25 balls, tried to rescue South Africa but failed to get support. As the host batters surrendered against the Indian-bowling line-up, India won the game by runs. India spinner Kuldeep Yadav clinched five wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja got two wickets. With this win, India drew the series 1-1.
