Anushka Sharma
Bollywood actress and former India captain Virat Kohli's wife, Anushka Sharma, will be attending the high-octane India-Pakistan 2023 ODI World Cup match. Kohli's biggest supporter arrived in Ahmedabad on the morning of the match day (October 14, Saturday). The arch-rivals will clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium from 2 pm (IST).
In a video shared by news agency ANI, Anushka can be seen walking out of the terminal in an all-black outfit. She wore a black top with a black vest and matching pants along with black sunglasses. She went straight to her car without posing for any photos amid tight security. “Actress Anushka Sharma arrives in Ahmedabad for the India Vs Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup match in Ahmedabad today," ANI tweeted.

Anushka was not present for India's first two World Cup matches against Australia and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Team India captain Rohit Sharma's wife Ritika Sajdeh has been travelling with her husband and was present in Chennai and Delhi. Apart from Anushka, legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth - golden ticket holders - will also attend the blockbuster encounter.
Kohli has been in tremendous form in recent times and he managed to continue that in the ongoing World Cup as well. In the first match, when India were in dire straits, Kohli and Rahul put on a record 165-run partnership to give the Men in Blue a six-wicket win. The right-hander scored 85 runs off 116 balls. He amassed an unbeaten 55 against Afghanistan in India's second match.
Both teams will start as favourites: Rohit Sharma ahead of IND vs PAK
India have a great record against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup history. The Men in Green are yet to beat their neighbours in the showpiece event. Meanwhile, with both teams coming into today's match on the back of two straight wins, India captain Rohit believes the hosts have no psychological advantage.
"I don't believe in psychological advantages. What happened in the past, is past. Both teams will start as favourites, both are equally better. We need to do well and carrying the momentum forward is important. We do believe in rhythm. Our bowlers have been in good momentum lately, they handled the pressure well and learnt a lot. We always discuss ticking the right boxes, always. It is nice to go into a World Cup to go with it," said the veteran opener.
