While the defending champions, England lost to New Zealand badly in the tournament opener. On the other hand, Bangladesh played their first game at this venue against Afghanistan and won comprehensively. Meanwhile, talking about the game, it will be the second-day game of the tournament after the Bangladesh vs Afghanistan game.
