KL Rahul has returned to Ekana stadium in Lucknow for the first time since his appearance in the IPL 2023 at the venue. The Lucknow Supergiants captain remembered his time with the franchise in the IPL 2023 after his return to the venue. Rahul had bitter seet moments at the venue after the IPL 2023. In one of the matches in the season, Rahul got injured.
The injury turned out to be so bad that Rahul was ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2023. In the absence of Rahul, Krunal Pandya led LSG in the remainder of the season. The injury also meant that Rahul had to remain out of cricket for a long time. The reports of the scans after the injury suggested that Rahul had to undergo a surgery.
Rahul went through his surgery in London, which was successful. After that, Rahul was declared out of contention for the Indian team for a long time. The Indian cricketer was not a part of the WTC final, the ODI, T20I, and Test series against West Indies. In the mean period, Rahul recoevered from his injury and underwent rehabilitation in the national cricket academy.

Just days before the start of the Asia Cup 2023, Rahul was deemed fit. Since then, Rahul has hardly put a foot wrong. The entire journey in the last 5-6 months was remembered by Rahul, as he spoke about it in a short interview. Rahul hoped that this time around, the memories of him in Lucknow would be good, unlike his previous appearance in the venue in the IPL 2023.
As a wicketkeeper batter, Rahul has been very good for the Indian team in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. Rahul has provided stability in the middle order. The Indian cricketer thanked the fans who have supported him in his bad times. India is set to take on England in Lucknow. It will bea do-or-die match for England to stay alive in the tournament.
