India are undoubtedly the favourite to win the match considering their performance in all departments. Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer are all in good touch with the bat. Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Hardik Pandya have also sharpened their bowling attack.

When the two Asian teams clash on Thursday, former India captain Kohli will once again be the centre of attraction. Speaking ahead of the exciting encounter, Bangladesh wicketkeeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim has opened up about the rivalry with Kohli. The veteran cricketer said that he never sledges the ace Indian batter and has also warned his teammates not to do so.

“Some batters in the world love sledging and get pumped up by that. So I never sledge him because he gets pumped up by that. I always tell my bowlers to get rid of him as early as possible,” said Rahim.

"Whenever I play against him, he always tries to sledge me every time I go in to bat because he is a really competitive guy and he doesn't want to lose any cricket match. I really love that rivalry with him and the challenge that comes with facing him and India,” he added.

He's a very experienced bowler: Kohli about Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan

With 156 runs at an average of 78, Kohli is currently 11th in the list of leading run-scorers in the ongoing World Cup. The No. 3 batter scored two half-centuries in three matches. Meanwhile, on the eve of the IND vs BAN match, Kohli praised Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan's incredible bowling skills. However, the all-rounder's availability for the game is under a cloud due to a left quadriceps injury.

"He's got amazing control. He's a very experienced bowler. He bowls very well with the new ball, knows how to deceive the batsman, and is also very economical. You have to play your best against all these bowlers," Kohli said.
