Bangladesh (BAN) is set to take on Sri Lanka (SL) in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 in the 38th match in Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. A lot of things are happening before the match. But the teams are focused on returning to winning ways. Bangladesh has lost 6 matches in a row and Sri Lanka lost their previous match by a huge margin of 302 runs.

In their previous encounter, Sri Lanka conceded 357 runs against India and ended up getting bundled out for just 55 runs in Mumbai's Wankhede stadium. On the other hand, Bangladesh lost to Pakistan in Kolkata's Eden Gardens and was knocked out of the tournament. If they lose the match against Sri Lanka, they will be out of the race for the qualification for the Champions Trophy 2025.

Delhi has come under scrutiny for its severe air pollution in the last few days. The two teams cancelled their training session ahead of the match citing the same issue. While there were reports that suggested rescheduling the match, nothing has been concluded so far. Hence, a lot of eyebrows will be on this particular match in Arun Jaitley stadium.
