PKL 2022: Day 4, Full Review, Star raider Naveen Kumar shines for Dabang Delhi K.C in a massive win

Dabang Delhi K.C and U Mumba won their respective matches on the fourth day of the ninth season of PKL.

Dabang Delhi and U Mumba dominated the action on day four of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022. Both teams locked horns with Gujarat Giants and UP Yoddhas at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. In the first match, U Mumba outplayed the UP Yoddhas in the first match of the day and registered an emphatic win.

Following the first encounter of the day, Dabang Delhi completely outmuscled the Gujarat Giants in the second and last match of the day. Delhi won the match on the backs of stellar performances from the skipper Naveen Kumar and Manjeet.

U Mumba’s star raider Guman Singh earned five points with three touchpoints and two bonus points. Apart from this, he ended up as the most successful raider in the match at the time of the final whistle. Guman registered five successful raids in 15 attempts with three unsuccessful and seven empty raids.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

The skipper of U Mumba, Surinder Singh achieved four successful tackles out of a total of seven tackles with three unsuccessful tackles to his name. Surinder was the most successful defender in the first match on the fourth day of the ninth season of the tournament.

Result of the Match – U Mumba won the match by a margin of seven points.

Highest Individual Successful Raids

Delhi’s captain Naveen Kumar finished the match having the highest number of successful raids to his name. He registered 13 successful raids in 22 attempts with two unsuccessful and seven empty raids in his account. Following Naveen, Gujarat’s star raider Rakesh Kumar equalized Naveen in terms of points and ended up on the second number in most successful raids. Rakesh achieved 11 successful raids in 21 attempts with six unsuccessful and four empty raids.

Highest Individual Successful Tackles

Delhi’s star defender Krishan was the most successful defender of match seven successful tackles in 13 attempts with six unsuccessful tackles. He earned seven points in the match on the backs of his successful tackles.

Result of the Match – Dabang Delhi K.C won the match by a margin of 20 points.
