England lost their first Test series under the reins of Ben Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum. They stunned the home team with a 28-run win in the series opener in Hyderabad. But Rohit Sharma and Co. bounced back in the following three matches to clinch the series. With a comprehensive 5-wicket win in Ranchi, India took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the riveting series.

It will be essential for the English side to look for a consolation win and leave India on a positive note. The Men in Blue continued their dominance on the home soil and will aim to conclude the series on a high. They were without some key players throughout the series, but the youngsters stepped up to produce some remarkable performances. As for England, their Bazball approach has not yielded the desired results in the series so far.
