The team lost their opening match against ZETA DIVISION while putting up a decent fight. This shifted them to the elimination match against Bleed Esports, who also lost their opening match.

Both teams faced each other in an intense battle, with Global Esports coming out on top, living to see another day. The matches went up and down with Global Esports taking the first match. However, Bleed Esports made a comeback on the second.

The decider map was also on the verge of going overtime, but Global Esports managed to take control and secure the win. They will now face ZETA DIVISION once again in a decider match. The decider match against ZETA DIVISION will tell which team will move to the Play-In.

  • Group B - Talon Esports Vs Team Secret
  • Group C - Gen.G Esports Vs Rex Regum Qeon

A long battle remains

The top three teams from each group in the group-stage matches have already qualified directly for the playoffs. These include T1, DRX and Paper Rex. The Play-in will give another chance to the teams who aim to reach Masters Madrid.

Qualifying for the Play-in is one thing, as only one team from the Play-in will move to the playoffs. A total of three teams will compete in the play-in, one from each group. Each team will play one match against the other two teams in a round-robin group.
