Popular football expert Shaka Hislop collapsed on Air while covering Real Madrid vs AC Milan pre-season friendly in Pasadena, California. The former Premier League goalkeeper with over 250 appearances in England’s top-flight in working as a successful football pundit in the USA. As such, his collapse on air raised eyebrows around the footballing community in the country with fans appearing very concerned about their favourite presenter.

However, there has been a positive update from the medics. He was reported to be conscious and a little embarrassed about the incident. "That (the first half) was of course very much secondary to what happened ahead of the game. Obviously, my mate Shaka is not here, but as it stands, it's good news,” said his broadcasting partner Dan Thomas.

"He's conscious, he's talking, I think he's a little bit embarrassed about it all. He's apologised profusely, not a man who likes people to make a fuss of him. Obviously, it's too early to make any sort of diagnosis but the important thing is Shaka's conscious and we've spoken to his family as well, imagine seeing that happen live, there can't be many more things that can scare you amongst the family. We spoke to his wife and things are looking OK. Thank you for all your love, and as it stands, it looks like Shaka's going to be alright," Thomas added bringing a sense of relief.

Real Madrid won the game after a second-half comeback

Talking of the game, AC Milan were leading 0-2 at half-time, with goals from Fikayo Tomori at 25 minutes and Luka Romero at 42 minutes. However, a quick Fede Valverde double with goals coming at 57 and 59 minutes turned the tide of the game. Star winger Vinicius Junior scored the winner in the 84th minute, finishing yet another signature Real Madrid comeback. They won the game 3-2 at the end. This was the first game for the two clubs in the ongoing pre-season tour titled ‘Soccer Champions Tour’. Real Madrid will next be in action against Manchester United on Thursday while AC Milan will face Juventus the day after.
