However, before the grand finale, an event unrelated to the same managed to catch everyone's attention. It included the star football player Kylian Mbappe. Apparently, Real Madrid fans are still furious at him for not joining the club and thus, were seen abusing him prior to the Champions League final. It is to be noted that Mbappe had decided to continue playing for Paris Saint-Germain, and not join Real Madrid.

In a video posted on Twitter, the fans could be seen abusing the star player. The fans were seen chanting slogans against Mbappe. They are seemingly saying 'Mbappe hijo de puta' which means 'Mbappe M*****f****r'. An important point to be noted is this incident occurred near the iconic Eiffel Tower.

Besides, the monument could be seen in the background as well. Notably, the user who shared this video was Kiyan Sobhani, who happens to be a journalist. Several fans reacted to his video.

"Paris, where tourists arrive to hear polite things about Mbappe" read the caption of the Tweet. The reason for Real Madrid fans being so angry at Mbappe is the fact that they were sure of him playing for the club. In fact, the legendary club had even printed “Mbappe shirts” and were waiting for him to join. However, the football star ditched the Madrid contract, and decided to continue playing for PSG.

Nevertheless, it was still a memorable day for Real Madrid fans as their team won yet another Champions League final owing to excellent performances by Thibaut Courtois and Vinicius Jr. The goalkeeper was simply too good as he didn't allow the Liverpool stringers to score a single goal. As for Vinicius Jr, he scored a goal during the second half of the game.
