UEFA Champions League 2021: 1st Semi-Final – Chelsea vs Real Madrid – All you need to know

Both teams scored a goal each in the first leg of the semi-final clash.

Two heavyweight Football teams Chelsea and Real Madrid will face-off in the second leg of the first semi-final of the ongoing UEFA Champions League. It was 1-1 in the first leg with Chelsea scoring an away goal thanks to Christian Pulisic. However, Karim Benzema scored a stunning equaliser to keep his team in the hunt.

Chelsea are on an 8-match unbeaten streak with six wins and they will be delighted to have an away goal to their name ahead of the crunch fixture. They will only have to keep Real Madrid away from scoring a goal and a 0-0 result will help them qualify for the final with a virtue of having scored an away goal in the first leg.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, have struggled with many injuries to their key player. And the latest to join the list is Dani Carvajal. The experienced right-back has sustained a hamstring injury and this must have left the team fretting. Having said that, Real Madrid are coming off a 2-0 win in the domestic circuit and will be confident of pulling it off. They will have to score at least a goal in this game.
