In what has come as a major development, Liverpool star forward, Mo Salah is likely to leave the club ahead of the transfer window for the 2022-23 season. According to reports, the Liverpool forward is unwilling to sign a new contract with the club if there isn’t any major hike.

Mo Salah’s future with the club looks bleak. He won’t leave the club this summer but the star football is pretty sure that he doesn’t want to move out of English Premier League. He might be seen playing for a new club in the 2023 summer. With just 12 months remaining in the contract of the 29-year-old forward, Liverpool is desperate to resign one of their star players.

With Sadio Manne also keen to leave the club, Liverpool is currently in a spot of bother. However, much to their respite, Mo Salah isn’t leaving the club for this summer. If Liverpool don’t make a significant hike in Salah’s new contract then the latter will definitely move out of Liverpool in the summer of 2023.

According to reports from different sources, it has been learned that Mo Salah isn’t interested to accept to a 15% hike in his new contract. The Liverpool forward feels that he deserves more than that. Having said that, he also mentioned that he isn’t asking the club to give him a crazy amount.

As per reports from The Athletic, Salah would be willing to sign a two-year contract if the terms are well. But the Egyptian is unwilling to sign a four-year contract with the Merseyside Reds.

MO Salah has exhibited brilliant performances for the club this season. He bagged the joint Premier League Golden Boot winner with Tottenham’s Heung-min Son. Besides, he also made the highest number of assists with 13 to his name. So far, Salah has scored 156 goals in 254 appearances after his high-priced move from Roma.
