Brazil started the match with more intensity than South Korea. In the seventh minute, Brazil took the lead when Vinicius Jr. scored the goal. It was a cool and composed finish from the Brazilian star. Then, in the 11th minute, Brazil got a penalty. Neymar did not do a mistake as he converted that chance from the spot with ease. In the 16th minute, Hwang Hee-chan tried a long-ranger from out of the box. However, Alisson came up with a huge fist pump to keep it away from the goal. Meanwhile, Brazil scored the third goal of the match in the 29th minute. Richarlison scored that goal but that build-up was a pure treat to watch for Brazil fans. It was a complete team goal where Thiago Silva delivered the final assist. Then, in the 36th minute, Lucas Paqueta scored the fourth goal while Vinicius Jr. assisted him. Thus, the first half ended 4-0.

In the second half, the Selecao looked to extend their lead but they failed to convert some chances. Then, South Korea’s Paik Seung-ho scored a stunner from outside of the box and made it 4-1. It was a thunderous strike from Paik as Alisson had no answer to it. However, the game ended 4-1 in favor of Brazil and they qualified for the quarter-finals.
