France and Denmark locked horns in a Group D match of the FIFA World Cup today, on the 26th of November. The second match for both teams kicked off at Stadium 974 in Doha. Notably, it was the second match of both teams in the tournament. French teams were coming off with a massive win against Australia in their tournament opener with a margin of 4-1.

The match was a nail-biting thriller between Denmark and Hugo LLORIS’ France.  Looking at the outings of the first match of both teams, it was a must-win encounter for both of the teams to seal their berth in the round of 16.

But the French hero Kylian Mbappe had some other plans on the day and he came up with an impressive header in the 86th minute of the match. This goal gave the upper hand to France as they took the lead once again and now the score line came to 2-1 in favor of France.
