It was a battle of defence vs. Long balls between Al Raed and Al Nassr but Al Raed was getting the better of Al Nassr. After much duelling and putting up a great fight, Sadio Mane made a chance count and got his side on the scoresheet. But the joy was short-lived as a foul from Bander Whaeshi resulted in Al Raed coming down to 10 men before the 45-minute mark.

Anderson Talisca made a big difference as a substitute for Al Nassr

In the second half of the game, Al Nassr struck back as they had a great advantage because they had more numbers on their side. Anderson Talisca made an immediate difference when he came into the lineup as a substitute. He scored a scorcher of a goal just four minutes after the half-time break.

He continued to make a great contribution and pull the right strings and 30 after thirty minutes he set up and gave an assist to  Ronaldo in the box, who nutmegged his marker and rattled the net with his hit. When it comes to the points table. Al Nassr ended up vaulting to fifth position. Al Raeed tanked down all the way to 15th.

The Man from Portugal will now start his AFC Champions League 2023-24 campaign, with the team going up against the Iranian side, Persepolis on September 19.
