Hungary manager Marco Rossi has slammed Cristiano Ronaldo for his signature celebration after Portugal’s impressive 3-0 win over Hungary. According to Rossi, Ronaldo is a great player but can be annoying at times. Ronaldo was on fire and scored a brace for his team in a Group F match against Hungary. Raphael Guerreiro netted the first goal for Portugal in the 84th minute before Ronaldo converted a penalty 3 minutes later to double the lead for his team. Five minutes later he dodged his second goal in the injury time. Post scoring the goals, Ronaldo went on to do his signature move which irked Hungary’s manager.

"Ronaldo is a great champion but at times he can be annoying. After the penalty with us he celebrated as if he had scored in the final. People notice these things," Rossi told Gazzetta dello Sport.

The criticism, however, had little impact on Ronaldo who converted two penalties as Portugal settled for a 2-2 draw against France that helped them seal their place in the Round of 16.

The 36-year-old Portugal skipper has already registered his name in records books by levelling with Iran’s Ali Daei with 109 goals, the most in international football. While Portugal went on to defeat Hungary and draw with France, they suffered a crushing defeat to Germany who thrashed them 4-2. Portugal will take on Belgium in their last-16 clash at the Estadio de La Cartuja stadium in Seville on Monday (June 28).
