It’s just around two weeks before Europe’s biggest football carnival UEFA Euro 2020 gets underway. The preparations are in full swing and the fans are eagerly waiting to see their superstars in action. While most of the teams have announced their squads, several big names have surprisingly been left out. While some will miss the tournament due to an injury, others have been left out because the manager doesn’t fancy them.

Jan Oblak is among the best goalkeepers going around but he won’t be featuring in the Euro 2020 as his team Slovenia has failed to qualify.
England have the likes of Kyle Walker, Reece James, Kieran Trippier and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the right-back pecking order thus Aaron Wan-Bissaka, unfortunately, has to miss out on the Euro 2020.
Sergio Ramos has struggled with injuries this season thus Spain’s head coach Luis Enrique decided to go into Euro 2020 without their skipper.

Virgil van Dijk picked up an injury in October last year and hasn’t played a game since then. He decided to opt-out of the tournament to continue his rehabilitation
