Arsenal keen to rope in Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic

If reports are to be believed, Arsenal are keenly interested in roping in Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic. The forward has been in tremendous form in the last few years for Fiorentina. Other clubs, including Manchester United, Tottenham and Juventus are also linked with him but Arsenal seems to be leading the race at the moment. The club has reportedly agreed to meet the £68 million valuation of Dusan set by the Fiorentina.

Dusan Vlahovic, who joined Fiorentina in 2018, has become a pivotal part of the Fiorence attack. He has so far scored astounding 39 goals in 85 Serie A matches. His performance has gone a notch above in the last two seasons. The forward scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A matches last season and have already breached the defence 12 times in the current season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have more than made up for their poor start to the season. The club started their campaign with three losses, without scoring a goal, which was their worst start in over a century. However, the tables have turned post those losses, with the team registering a 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions, with eight wins.

The change in fortunes have helped them climb up the table. They are currently placed sixth, three points behind the top four. A win over Watford will take them ahead of Manchester United and level on points with West Ham after 11 games.
