VCT Pacific Kickoff; Group Stage teams and matches

VCT Pacific group stages are set to begin from February 17, eleven teams will fight for the top two spot for a chance to play in the VCT Masters Madrid

VCT Pacific

The VCT Pacific 2024 Kickoff tournament is set to start in February and will be featuring 11 teams. Tournament matches will be taking place in Seoul, South Korea.

Group stage matches will be from February 17. Teams will fight to secure the top two positions, who will get a direct spot in the VCT Masters Madrid.

Group Stage format -

Teams will be divided into three groups. Group A and Group B will have four teams. Group C will only have three. All groups will play matches in a Double-Elimination format.

  • Group A: T1, Bleed Esports, Zeta Division, Global Esports
  • Group B: DRX, Detonation FocusMe, Team Secret, Talon Esports
  • Group C: Gen.G, RRQ, Paper Rex

Winning teams from each group will face each other, while the losers will also do the same in an elimination match. In the case of Group C, Paper Rex will already be in the winner's bracket.

The team that loses in the winners' bracket will move to the losers' bracket. Similarly, the team losing in the losers bracket will be eliminated. All matches will be played as best-of-three.

The top team from each group will advance to the Playoffs. The second position will move to the Play-in, where they will face each other in a Round-Robin group played in Bo3. Only one team will have a chance to go in the Playoffs.
