PSL 6: Matches to be streamed live on Facebook

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has collaborated with social media giant Facebook to bring the event to a global audience via platform’s Paid Online Events. The fans will have to pay a nominal fee to access the live broadcast. The PSL features some of the biggest names in world cricket thus it enjoys a huge fan following. Going live via Facebook will allow PCB to expand its reach to all corners of the globe. The move will also allow PCB to explore newer avenues for revenue generation.

PCB, on June 3, announced the schedule for the remaining matches of the PSL 6. The tournament will get underway on June 9, with the final being played on June 24. The league will have six doubleheaders, including one in the playoffs. All the matches will start at 9: 00 PM PST while in case of doubleheaders, the first match will get underway at 6:00 PM PST while the second match will start at 11:00 PM PST.

Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United will resume the league in the 15th match. The qualifier and eliminator one will be played on June 21 while eliminator two will take place on June 22. The PSL champion will be decided on June 24.
