The Toronto Ultra are your champions for the first Major for Call of Duty (CDL) League of 2024. Following behind were Atlanta FaZe and OpTic Texas. The tournament featured a prize pool of $375,000.
CDL points were also distributed to the top eight teams. This will determine the team's standings throughout the CDL 2024 season.
A total of 12 teams took part in the first CDL Major and the matches were intense. While many already predicted Toronto Ultra to be the winner, the matches kept every on the edge with lots of ups and downs.
Strong since the beginning
Toronto Ultra dominated the playfield and was clearly one of the strongest teams to enter. Making their way to the Upper bracket finals, the teams dominated Atlanta FaZe sending them to fight in the lower bracket.
Atlanta FaZe managed to secure a win at the lower bracket finals and moved to the grand finals. They again faced Toronto Ultra and failed to take revenge as the team once again dominated them in the grand finals.
OpTic Texas also put up a great fight
A similar thing happened in the case of OpTic Texas. The team was sent to the lower bracket early on by Atlanta FaZe. There, the team breezed through to make it to the lower bracket finals but were once again defeated by Atlanta FaZe.
