The gaming industry has seen exponential growth over the past five years. The popularity of the industry has led to several youngsters choosing it as a career option. Online gaming has brought a new term in the market known as ‘Esports’ where gamers stream while playing video games with competitors which is enjoyed by millions of fans. Season 2 of the much-awaited show is underway as the auction for Playground Season 2 will be held on 1^st February 2023. Playground Season 2 has a star-studded list of mentors which include famous Youtubers Ajey Nagar a.k.a Carry Minati, Triggered Insaan, Ashish Chanchalani, Harsh Beniwal and Scout. The auction for season 2 will live stream on the YouTube channel of Playground.

Playground has laid the foundation for the future of gaming in India. It’s an entertainment show, which gives players a chance to enthral the audience through their gaming skills and funny commentary. The participating contestants are mostly social media content creators and YouTubers. First season of the highly-anticipated show was held in 2022, and it’s now back with an action-packed season 2.

Contests are seen unleashing their competitive side as a huge cash prize of Rs 50 lakh is up for grab. Hosted by RJ Mahvash, Actor & VJ Benafsha Soonawalla and RJ Rohit Varghese, the show presents an interesting way to assess knowledge.

FORMAT of Playground Season 2

In the tryout rounds, the mentors assess the skills and abilities of the contestants to decide if they are suitable for the mega auction round. Later, in the auction round, mentors place their bids to purchase contestants which impress them. Each mentor is given a purse of 4 million PAODS (Playground Currency) using which they have to complete their squads. After the tryouts and auctions, five different squads compete against each other in gaming rounds.
