Team India senior bowler Yuzvendra Chahal's wife Dhanashree Verma is in the midst of controversy after a recent picture of her went viral on social media. Dhanashree's picture with prominent choreographer Pratik Utekar was deemed 'intimate' by netizens and she was severely criticised and trolled.

Chahal and his wife were among the notable guests at the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 finale party, hosted by Farah Khan Kunder. During the event, Dhanashree, a dancer, choreographer and YouTuber snapped a photo with Uteker and shared it on their respective social media handle.
However, the way the two posed for the photo did not sit well with the fans. Utekar wrapped both his hands around Dhanashree while closely standing behind her. Netizens trolled and slammed Dhanashree for sharing an intimate frame with some other guy.

Not the first time Dhanashree has been trolled for similar reasons
Chahal and Dhanashree got married in December 2020. Both are not new faces among social media trolls. A dentist by profession, Dhanashree's name was associated with Chahal's India teammate Shreyas Iyer.
Notably, Dhanashree was among the wildcard contestants in the Indian dance reality television show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. But it was former Big Boss contestant Manisha Rani who clinched the trophy. Meanwhile, Chahal had posted a sweet message appreciating his wife's efforts, saying, "So proud of you chotu".
