Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony in Gurgaon. Their much-talked-about love story began during the pandemic and soon, they became one of cricket’s beloved couples sharing glimpses of their relationship on social media.

Four years and one month later, things are not great between the couple. According to sources, Chahal and Dhanashree have not been staying together for several months. The exact reason for their reported separation isn’t known yet. However, this is not the first time that questions have been raised over their relationship.

In 2023, Dhanashree removed ‘Chahal’ from her Instagram handle which sparked massive rumors about their divorce. However, the cricketer himself dismissed all the rumors at the time urging fans and media to not spread unverified information.

Also, Dhanashree publicly supported Chahal through her cryptic posts whenever her husband didn’t find a place in the national team. Notably, the leg-spinner’s appearances have been limited over the last couple of years. In fact, he is not a part of the Indian team in any format at the moment with the selectors preferring Kuldeep Yadav above him.

Having said that, the current reports of her divorce seem more serious with neither party coming out and declining any of it. The couple has unfollowed each other on Instagram as well even as Chahal has erased much of their shared history online on social media. At the same time though Dhanashree is yet to do so keeping their pictures together on her account.

While there is no confirmed report of their separation, Chahal’s recent story on Instagram highlighting ‘hard work’ and being a ‘proud son’ has hinted that all is not well.
