India went into lunch with Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja batting. Things changed once the players came out to bat. Ravindra Jadeja was caught by Bairstow to give Bashir his second wicket. With wickets falling at the other end, the pressure was getting to the home team. Shubman Gill showed why he is regarded as one of the best batters. The 24-year-old curbed his instincts and played within himself. With the required runs under 20, Gill went down the ground and smacked two sixes. The youngster found an able ally in Dhruv Jurel as they put their heads down during a tricky period.

Team India wouldn’t have won the Test match hadn’t it been for 22-year-old Dhruv Jurel. After his heroic 90 in the first innings, Team India needed the youngster to come good again. The 22-year-old was unbeaten on 39 off 77 balls as he saw India go through in style. It will be a moment to remember for Dhruv Jurel and his family, who have seen lots of struggle. Once the match ended, Rahul Dravid could be seen hugging the youngster in an endearing moment.
