Ravichandran Ashwin recently missed the World Test Championship (WTC) final as India decided to keep him out of the playing XI. The Men in Blue lost the final and many fans, former cricketers slammed them for not picking the number-one-ranked bowler in the longest format of the game.

However, he is currently busy playing in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) for Dindigul Dragons. But, he made headlines on 14 June when the off-spinner was seen going for a review to overturn a DRS call. However, it was quite surprising for fans to see two reviews on a single ball and the video has now gone viral.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 13th over of Ba11sy Trichy’s innings. On the sixth delivery of that over, Rajkumar was looking for an expensive drive but he failed to do while the keeper caught the ball. The batter was given out and then, he went for a review. After replays, the umpire decided to overturn the decision as the bat was hitting the turf and that was creating a spike on the ultra edge. But, Ashwin was not happy and he again went for the review for that decision.

Still, the decision remained the same as the batter survived. Speaking of the match, Ba11sy Trichy batted first and got bundled out for 120 runs in 19.1 overs. Ashwin took two wickets for 26 runs in four overs. In reply, Dindigul Dragons chased down the target with ease in just 14.5 overs with six wickets in hand. Opener Shivam Singh scored 46 runs off 30 balls. Dragons’ Varun Chakravarthy won the Player of the Match award for taking three wickets for 21 runs in four overs. This win made sure that the Dragons began their campaign this year with a win while Trichy suffered a loss in their opener.
