The Women’s Premier League (WPL) has rapidly emerged as a key fixture in the global women’s cricket landscape following its successful inaugural season in 2024. The last WPL season witnessed an electrifying finale as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) claimed the title in a dramatic final against Delhi Capitals. Despite facing hurdles in the league stage, RCB made a stunning comeback, spearheaded by Ellyse Perry’s all-round brilliance.
The third edition of the premier women’s T20 league is set to take place in four cities: Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. The tournament will span from February 14 to March 15, promising an action-packed schedule filled with high-intensity cricket. The BCCI has officially unveiled the schedule for the upcoming season, which will kick off with defending champions RCB facing Gujarat Giants at the newly established BCA Stadium in Vadodara.
Vadodara will host the first six matches before the competition shifts to Bengaluru, where RCB will play their first home game against Mumbai Indians on February 21. Lucknow will make its debut as a WPL venue, hosting UP Warriorz matches starting March 3. The final leg of the tournament will be played in Mumbai, with the Cricket Club of India set to host the last two league games as well as the playoffs.

Under the tournament’s structure, the top team on the points table will directly qualify for the final, while the second and third-placed teams will battle in the Eliminator on March 13. The grand finale is scheduled for March 15, capping off what promises to be another thrilling season of the WPL. Notably, all matches will be played as single-header games, with evening start times at 19:30 IST.
