On 21 June 2023, the stage was set for the final of the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Mong Kok. India A Women locked horns with Bangladesh A Women. India’s semi-final clash with Sri Lanka A Women got abandoned due to rain. Hence, the Women in Blue qualified for the final for being the table toppers in the group stage.
On the other hand, Bangladesh A Women defeated Pakistan A Women by six runs to seal their berth in the final. Speaking of the match, India A Women skipper, Shweta Sehrawat won the toss and opted to bat first. But, she managed to score just 13 runs off 20 balls, including two fours.

Then, U Chetry scored 22 runs off 20 balls, including two fours and one six. After that, Dinesh Vrinda scored 36 runs off 29 balls, including five fours and one six. Kanika Ahuja also scored 30* runs off 23 balls, including four boundaries. Apart from these, no batters came up with some significant contributions as they scored 127 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. For Bangladesh A Women, both Sultana Khatun and Nahida Akter took two wickets each. Apart from them, both Rabeya Khan and Sanjida Akter Meghla grabbed one wicket each.
In reply, India A Women's bowlers were on a roll since the start of the innings. No batters from Bangladesh managed to cross the 20-run mark as they got bundled out for 96 runs in 19.2 overs. Shreyanka Patil was the star with the ball as she took four wickets for 13 runs in four overs. Apart from her, Mannat Kashyap took three wickets, Kanika Ahuja took two wickets, and Titas Sadhu grabbed one wicket. Thus, India A Women won the final by 31 runs and lifted the trophy. Kanika Ahuja won the Player of the Match award for her all-round performance while Shreyanka Patil won the Player of the Series award for taking nine wickets in the tournament.
