Speaking of the incident, it all happened in the seventh over’s second ball when India was defending their total of 184 runs before the rain forced them to go ahead with the revised target. Young Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh threw the ball to senior wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik as Littond Das and Nazmul Hasa attempted a single.

Meanwhile, former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli happened to fake the action of throwing the ball.

Following the accusation from Bangla wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan and some others, Aakash Chopra has come with fiery remarks on the issue.

Here's what Aakash Chopra had to say

"Woh fake fielding tha, 100% tha, wo jo throw marne ka prayas kia wo agar umpire dekhte toh 5 run ki pentaly padti humko aur 5 run se hum match bhi jeete. (Yes that is 100% fake fielding because of the way he attempted to throw the ball. If the umpires had seen it then we would've been slapped with a five-run penalty and we've won by five runs only.) So we escaped here but next time if someone does this then the umpires will have to be more careful. So is Bangladesh right? Yes, they are but nobody noticed it then so can't do anything now," said Chopra in a recent video on his YouTube channel.

Now, the Indian team will face Zimbabwe in the super-12 round of the tournament. Rohit's men have won three matches out of the four matches they played so far. If India registers a win against Zimbabwe then their spot will be secure in the semi-finals of the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup.
