Yet another continuous poor display from the Karnataka batter didn’t go down well with the Indian cricket fans. They immediately took to Twitter to lash out at him followed by a criticism of the Indian team management for giving more than enough chances to KL Rahul.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Speaking of the current updates of the ongoing first session of the Mirpur Test, the visitors have lost three wickets on the score of 86 runs. Taijul Islam provided two early breakthroughs to Bangladesh in the 14th and 16th over of the Indian innings. He trapped both Indian openers KL Rahul and Shubman Gill in his spin web. The 23-year-old also failed to repeat his heroic display of the first Test’s second innings and went back to the pavilion only on the score of 20 runs.

In the recent setback for the Indian team, they lost the senior specialist batter Cheteshwar Pujara who also fell prey to Taijul Islam. Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and former skipper Virat Kohli were unbeaten on the individual scores of 18 and 12 runs at the time of Lunch on the second day.

Earlier, the visitors’ bowling bundled up Bangladesh only on the score of 227 runs, thanks to the brilliant bowling performances from the senior lads, Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav. The former scalped 4 wickets by conceding 71 runs in 21.5 overs alongside Umesh who scalped as many wickets by conceding only 25 runs in 15 overs.

Comeback man of India, Jaydev Unadkat also scalped two wickets and contributed in the early wrap of the batting lineup of the hosts.
