Former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar recently tweeted after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. He expressed his mourning for the death of the queen. Although, this tweet didn’t go down well with the fans of former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli who recently scored his 71^st international century after a long wait of 3 years.

Everybody including cricketers and fans was tweeting and heaping their praises on the 33-year-old after his sensational comeback into the form with the bat. But the veteran of 100 international centuries didn’t post any tweet on Kohli’s century against Afghanistan in the super-4 round match of the Asia Cup 2022.

Ardent fans of Virat Kohli took no time in lashing out at Sachin Tendulkar for his ignorance of the century from the right-hand batter.

Talking about the match between Afghanistan and India, then Afghan skipper Mohammed Nabi won the toss and asked the Indians to bat first at the Dubai International Stadium. Batting first, the Indian team posted a big total of 212 runs for the loss of only two wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Former skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli played a swashbuckling knock of 122 runs off just 61 balls with 12 boundaries and six sixes to his name. Other than him, senior batter KL Rahul also played a very fine knock of 62 runs off 41 balls with six boundaries and two sixes on his credit.

While chasing the target, Afghanistan could score only 111 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by 101 runs. Senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped the highest number of five wickets by conceding only four runs in his quota of four overs with one maiden over in his account.

Virat Kohli won the award of player of the match for his amazing century for team India in this dead rubber against the Afghan side.
