After a tough Australia series at home, West Indies will host Pakistan for three T20Is and as many ODIs at the fag end of this month. The tour will commence with the three-match T20I series that will commence on July 31 (August 1 according to IST). All the three matches in the shortest format will take place in Lauderfill, Florida.

To promote the sport in USA, West Indies play a few of their T20I matches in Florida and it has been happening for almost nine years now. West Indies will be eager to return to the winning ways after losing to Australia in both Tests and T20Is recently.

It certainly won’t be easy for them to beat Pakistan who will also be hungry to returning to the winning ways, after losing the three-match series to Bangladesh away from home.

The visitors have recalled Shaheen Afridi to their T20I squad after a long gap while the superstar players and former captains - Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan continue to be overlooked. Fast bowler Haris Rauf has also made his comeback after missing the Bangladesh series due to injury sustained during the Major League Cricket (MLC).

Shadab Khan is yet to recover fully from injury and will continue to be out of action. Interestingly, the likes of Abbas Afridi, Ahmed Daniyal and Salman Mirza who fared well in Bangladesh have all been left out.

The T20I series will get underway on July 31 in Florida and then the ODIs will take place from August 8 with the tour concluding on August 12.

Much to the disappointment of the fans, there is no live telecast of the West Indies vs Pakistan T20I series in India.
