[Watch] Scott Boland packs Yashasvi Jaiswal out of SCG with an absolute jaffa

Star Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal's promising innings came to an anti-climatic end as he was cleaned up by Scott Boland in the third session of Day 2 of the ongoing Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.

From around the wicket, Boiand got the ball to pitch on the line of middle and off stump and straighten just enough to beat the defence of Yashasvi Jaiswal. The ball hit the top of off stump and sent the Australian fielders into delirium. 

Jaiswal had to depart for the score of 22 off 35 balls. Jaiswal stayed rooted to his crease and couldn't come on the front foot, getting completely squared up in the process.

India bundled out Australia for 181 and took a lead of four runs in their second innings. However, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals after the openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul got off to a good start and added 42 runs for the first wicket. 

Scott Boland was the wrecker-in-chief as he has picked up three wickets at the time of writing. KL Rahul tried to play the cover drive against one of the deliveries from Boland but the ball jagged back in and took an inside edge of KL Rahul's bat before crashing into the stumps. Jaiswal was the next to go as he too was cleaned up with an absolute beauty.

Virat Kohli looked solid at the crease for his brief stint but once again edged a delivery outside off-stump to the second slip. Rishabh Pant has walked out to bat and has taken the game by storm at the time of writing. He will be the key to India getting to a target in excess of 200.
