Watch: Sahibzada Farhan shamelessly laughs and applauds as crowd chants “Bumrah ke Abbu” during 3rd T20I in Lahore

Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan was seen enjoying as fans chanted derogatory remarks about India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, alluding to Farhan’s unexpected assault on the pacer during the Asia Cup 2025 tournament.

During the Asia Cup match, the Pakistan opener struck sixes off Bumrah, which appeared to be the pinnacle of his T20 career. 

Despite Pakistan's batters' poor performance during the Asia Cup 2025, Sahibzada Farhan was Pakistan's leading scorer. Farhan, Pakistan's lone positive batsman at the Asia Cup 2025, which included two fifties against India in the three games they clashed in.  

However, India had the last laugh as they won all three encounters against Pakistan. Including the final on September 28 in Dubai, to become Asia Cup T20 champions. 

However, in recent events, he has become the topic of the town after sinking to a new low and praising nasty statements made by Pakistani fans during the third T20I.

A portion of the home crowd abused Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah with disparaging remarks during the last match of the Pakistan vs. South Africa series at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Sahibzada Farhan, an Indian bowler, was fielding close to the boundary line when Pakistani supporters in the stands tried to get him excited by yelling his name. They cheered loudly and said, "Jasprit Bumrah ke abbu." Farhan became the first batter and first Pakistani to hit Jasprit Bumrah for sixes in the Asia Cup tournament. 

Pakistani players blatantly demonstrated a lack of sportsmanship by laughing and clapping in front of the crowd, validating the abusive shouts.
