Batting first at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, One Family scored 180/6 in 20 overs. Opener Darren Maddy (former English cricketer) smashed a 41-ball 51 while former India all-rounders Yusuf Pathan (38 off 24) and Yuvraj (23 off 10) played impactful cameos. Indian spin wizard Harbhajan Singh shone with two wickets while Tendulkar claimed one wicket in his 2 overs.

Naman Ojha and Tendulkar opened the innings for One World. The crowd went berserk when the India great and Sri Lankan spin maestro Muttiah Muralitharan came face-to-face. However, the holder of 800 Test wickets disappointed the Indian fans by dismissing his biggest rival on his very first ball.

Tendulkar attempted an aggressive shot but failed to clear Mohammad Kaif at long-on, who took a clean catch. Despite spending a brief time at the crease, the right-hander delighted the fans with a 16-ball 27 including three fours and a six.

Alviro Petersen was the star of the night as the former Proteas batter scored 74 runs off 50 balls including 5 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from his match-winning knock, Ojha's 18-ball 25 and Upul Tharanga's 20-ball 29 were crucial in their success. With 17 runs needed off the last 12 balls, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan showed great composure to take his team home.

Interestingly, the Pathan brothers came face-to-face in the last over and Irfan deposited the final ball of the match over the boundary rope to seal the win for One World. After hitting his brother for a six, Irfan was seen hugging Yusuf, a gesture that has gone viral on social media.
