Speaking of the match, the Indians faced an early blow when skipper Sachin fell prey to Nuwan Kulasekara on a golden duck. India Legends lost their two wickets only on the score of 19 runs. But from this moment, the 90-run stand for the third wicket between Naman Ojha and Vinay Kumar strengthened the Indian innings.

Other than the century of Naman, Vinay Kumar also played a crucial knock of 36 runs to help India post a decent total of 195 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

While defending the target, Indian bowlers bundled up the Sri Lanka legends on the score of 162 runs in 18.5 overs. Ishan Jayaratne was the only batter who played a struggled knock of 51 runs and crossed the mark of 30 runs for the Sri Lankan team.

Vinay Kumar and Abhimanyu Mithun scalped three and two wickets respectively. Other than these two bowlers, the rest of the Indian bowlers claimed one wicket each in their account.

Eventually, India won the title clash by 33 runs to win the tournament for the second time in a row.
